From July 8 to 10, Mr. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary, Board Member, and Chairman of the Labor Union of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited affiliated enterprises in Jinan and Weifang to conduct field research on business operations, workplace safety, and talent development. During the visits, he extended heartfelt appreciation to frontline employees working under high-temperature conditions and distributed summer relief supplies to support their well-being.
On July 8, at the production site of SINOTRUK Jinan Axle Company, Mr. Ye expressed sincere gratitude to employees for their dedication and hard work amid the summer heat. He emphasized the importance of upholding a strong team spirit—“United as one family, with one heart, working together for shared success”—and maintaining a proactive attitude of “staying motivated, staying ahead, and striving to be the best”. He urged everyone to intensify their efforts in the second half of the year to contribute solidly to the Group’s annual goals. While visiting the Liu Shengyong Innovation Studio, he encouraged team members to promote a spirit of innovation and mentorship, and to empower the Group’s high-quality development through the building of a highly skilled talent force.
On July 10, at the southern zone of the Weichai Intelligent Logistics Center, including the logistics area and engine warehouse, Mr. Ye closely examined the working conditions and health status of employees. He inquired in detail about the implementation of heat prevention measures. He emphasized that Party committees and labor unions at all levels must earnestly fulfill their responsibilities, provide refined and thoughtful services, and make every effort to resolve practical issues for frontline staff. A positive and supportive work environment should be fostered, enabling all employees to remain motivated and engaged in their work, thus contributing to the Group’s sustained high-quality development.
At the general assembly line of the Weichai Lovol Wheeled Machinery Plant, Mr. Ye carefully inspected the deployment of heat prevention equipment and the operational status of production facilities. He listened attentively to reports on current production and sales performance, and engaged in warm conversations with employees. He stressed that all units must always prioritize the health and safety of employees, implement summer heat protection measures in a practical and detailed manner, and arrange work and rest schedules in a scientific and reasonable way to ensure production safety during periods of high temperatures.
